At Bodegas Mendoza, we have been members of the Alicante Wine Route since its inception, contributing to making Alicante wine tourism a must-see experience for anyone visiting our province.

While our aging winery is located in Alfaz del Pi, a charming municipality rich in culture and surrounded by nature, our vineyards are situated in Villena, on the Finca El Chaconero. This unique site has been cultivated since the 16th century and features numerous small plots with distinct soil characteristics, producing wines of exceptional personality.

Moreover, the remarkable environmental value of the estate has earned its inclusion in the European Union’s Natura 2000 Network under the Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) designation.

This is due to the fact that just 2 kilometers away are the Lagunas de Villena, a Protected Natural Area offering the opportunity to observe numerous bird species throughout the year.

Additionally, our winery located in Alfaz del Pi is situated very close to the main tourist attractions of Alicante province. Specifically, our winery is approximately 6 kilometers from Benidorm, the crown jewel of the Costa Blanca.

These wines will be accompanied by delicious local delights: artisanal cheeses, Spanish cured meats, and our excellent extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), crafted from old olive trees planted on small terraces at the foot of the Sierra de Aitana and cultivated using environmentally sustainable practices.
