Description
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Landscape Wine: It is a selection of vineyards within a certain landscape which helps us to express the best of it. Its unique character. The landscape is the main character, with its vines, its soils, and its history.
- Variety: Chardonnay from our “Finca el Chaconero” on the slopes of “Cabezo de la Virgen” in Villena.
- Vinification: TThe harvest is carried out at dawn, picking the grapes into 18 kg boxes to keep the berries intact. They are stored for 24 hours in cold rooms at 3 °C before entering the winery. After destemming and direct pressing, the free-run juice is obtained, which ferments in 500 liter French Allier oak barrels at 18 °C. The wine remains in contact with its fine lees, undergoing batonnage until bottling.
- Certification: Wine with Organic Certification, this wine has been produced following the standards of organic farming, and has been controlled throughout its production, preparation and bottling process.
- Certification: European certificated V-Level wine by the Spanish Vegetarian Union as a VEGAN wine. In the process of this wine, no materials of animal origin or derivatives thereof have been used.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Yellow colour with golden reflections. It is crystal clear and very clean.
At first, aromas of fruit such as apple, quince, and citrus emerge, giving way to an aromatic complexity with balsamic, mineral, and toasted notes like eucalyptus, gunpowder, and vanilla, imparted by barrel fermentation.
The soft ageing in barrel, gives it volume and a creamy feeling.
It has a long aftertaste with a great balance of fruit, acidity, volume and structure.
