Description
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Single Vineyard: Wines that faithfully express the identity, personality of a specific vineyard within it. Soil, climate and variety are the main characters.
- Variety: Las Quebradas is a 100% Monastrell, made from a single vineyard located in “Las Quebradas” spot in Villena, situated at 500 meters above sea level and with soil characteristics which makes it unique.
The vineyard lives on rock and the soils are stony “caliche stones” and poor in vegetal material.
It is a traditional vineyard with 1500 plants per hectare in goblet- pruned and without any irrigation support; the fertilizer is made from ecological sheep manure which is fermented by us.
- Certification: European certificated V-Level wine by the Spanish Vegetarian Union as a VEGAN wine. In the process of this wine, no materials of animal origin or derivatives thereof have been used.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
The color is medium-high intensity cherry red. Clean and bright.
In the olfactory phase, ripe fruit and black fruits, blackberries, plums appear with hints of dry wild herbs that add freshness. The oak aging also stands out, giving this wine notes of black pepper and reminders of custard and butter.
On the palate, it has a powerful and enveloping entry, highlighting the fruit intertwined with nuances from aging. In the mid-palate, it is flavorful and structured with good, balanced, and ripe tannins that add character without aggressiveness.
The finish is long, with hints of plums, cocoa and a touch of pepper.
It is our little tribute to the Alicante province, with this wine you will enjoy the sun, our land and our people.
