Description
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Single Vineyard: Estrecho is a wine made from a single plot located in the “Estrecho de Pipa” area in Villena, characterized by a soil composed of fine sand and poor in organic matter.
- Variety: It is a traditional goblet- pruned, 100% Monastrell, with a density of 1500 plants per hectare.
- Vinification: To obtain the best expression of the Monastrell variety and all the potential of fresh fruit, it is hand-harvested in boxes, destemmed, and the whole grapes enter by conveyor into small stainless-steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature.
Due to its artisanal production, it may have natural sediments with age.
- Certification: European certificated V-Level wine by the Spanish Vegetarian Union as a VEGAN wine. In the process of this wine, no materials of animal origin or derivatives thereof have been used.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Deep cherry color with violet reflections and a high layer, anticipating concentration and youth.
A complex and expressive nose, dominated by ripe black fruits: blackberries, plums and blueberries accompanied by wild notes and mountain herbs. Balsamic nuances appear, along with an earthy and mineral background that brings character.
On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with an abundance of well-defined ripe fruit, balanced by a delicate spicy touch from barrel aging. The texture is juicy and well-balanced, with firm yet ripe tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving hints of black fruit, light cocoa, and a subtle mineral hint that gives the wine personality.
