Description
SPECIFICATIONS:
Landscape Wine: Ladecan is a selection of bush vines grown without irrigation planted at the foot of the northern slope of the Sierra del Castellar, where the Agro- Phoenician archaelogical remind from the 7th and 6th centuries B.C. is preserved.
In this shaded area, the Mediterranean forest enhances the sponge effect of the winter rains, an essential resource for surviving Alicante’s extreme summers.
Ladecan is the expression of these vineyards, where most of the hot summer days are shaded by the slope of the Sierra del Castellar.
- Viticulture: Monastrell is cultivated in loamy-sandy soil using traditional planting.
- Vinification: The grapes are hand- harvested in boxes to maintain the maximum potential of fresh fruit. Once destemmed, they enter whole by a conveyor belt into small stainless-steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature.
- Certification: European certificated V- Level wine by the Spanish Vegetarian Union as a VEGAN wine. In the process of this wine, no materials of animal origin or derivatives thereof have been used.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
It shows a cherry red color with violet reflections on the rim and a medium intensity layer.
On the nose, its freshness and optimal ripeness stand out, accompanied by notes of wild herbs, fresh flowers, black pepper and red fruits.
On the palate, it is fresh and easy-drinking. Flavors of fresh red fruits predominate, with good ripeness that provides natural sweetness and juiciness.
The finish is slightly spicy with a medium- intensity aftertaste.
