Description
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Variety: Single vineyard of Monastrell, made with grapes from our vineyards of our state “Finca Chaconero” in Villena. Vineyard located at 600 metres above the sea level. The soil in this vineyard is sandy limestone, and the age of the plants that are planted is 26 years old. All treatments related with the vineyard are environmentally friendly. (Do not use any insecticide, herbicide, pesticide…)
- Vinification: To get the full potential of the fresh fruit, the grapes are hand-harvested in small boxes. They are destemmed and entered whole by belt in to small-size steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with short and frequent pump-overs.
Due to its artisan style, this wine can throw sediments over time.
- Certification: European certificated V-Level wine by the Spanish Vegetarian Union as a VEGAN wine. In the process of this wine, no materials of animal origin or derivatives thereof have been used.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
It is a cherry red wine, on the nose it is fresh with a predominance of menthol notes, scrubland herbs, thyme, bay leaf, pine and with aromas of fresh fruit and red berries.
On the palate it is fresh, with volume and medium post-taste, with hints of scrubland. Balanced with a well-integrated medium tannin.
